Hello there, Lumpies and Gumpies-
Posting and writing have had to take a few seats further back, what with rehearsing three shows (all of which you must see if you're able, links at the bottom of this post) and job-hunting (looking at a new teaching assistant, by the way! -swigs celebratory whisky-), along with writer's block and other mental health goblins attempting to kick my not inconsiderable arse.
However, with the job secure, I can now put time back into the craft I have loved since I wrote that first Indiana Jones fan-fiction as an eight year old, but hopefully of a more professional and compelling calibre.
I have decided, to help with slow progress, to give myself a deadline for the first draft of The Brink and give myself three months with some wiggle room of a week or so at the end. So, by around the third of February, I should have a finished, though still rough, manuscript.
I am in need of beta-readers, so I am happy to send samples to those who would like to give an honest review of what I have written so far, via e-mail or any other preferred method
